Micromax felicitates local dealers and distributors

Micromax, India’s largest mobile handset company and among the top global handset manufactures, recently felicitated local dealers and distributors at a gala event in Colombo.

Held at Waters Edge, this inaugural event was hosted by Micromax along with Metropolitan Telecom Services Ltd., the National Distributor for Micromax in Sri Lanka, in recognition of the untiring efforts and contribution of their islandwide dealers and distributors in maintaining the expansive growth momentum of the Micromax brand in Sri Lanka. According to recent research reports published by reputed Indian advisory firm CyberMedia Research (CRM), Micromax emerged among the leading top brands in the local mobile handsets market and is also poised among the leaders in terms of mobile unit sales. At the event, distributors – including the brand’s super dealers – were thanked for their strong and consistent performance during the previous year. Micromax management also shared their future road map, and envisioned way forward. They encouraged dealers and distributors to continue to engage with customers and ensure overall higher customer satisfaction.

Present at this special occasion was Amit Mathur, Vice President International Businesses Micromax India.Representatives from the Metropolitan Director Board included Sanjeev Ariyaratnam, Director Metropolitan and Dushyanthi Roberts, Group Finance Director. Micromax Sri Lanka Management SavioMandonza, GM International Business, and Sanjeewa Hewagamage, Distribution Manager attended this event.
