Marking yet another significant milestone
HSBC, together with Microsoft Sri Lanka announced the successfully completion of an IT scholarship programme which sought to train youth in several parts of the country with basic IT skills. The project was launched earlier this year and 500 scholarships were handed out to deserving youth in the Northern, Western, Eastern and Southern provinces to empower them in Information Technology.

The project was implemented through Microsoft’s ongoing Unlimited Potential Partnership (UPP) programme.
