MillenniumIT, a leading technology solutions provider and a part of London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) was recognised as the ‘Systems Integrator (SI) Partner of the Year 2014’ at the recently-held Oracle FY15 ASEAN Partner Forum in Bangkok, Thailand. MillenniumIT was also recognised as the ‘Specialised Partner of the Year for Applications – 2014’, the only company to be recognised in this category in the entire ASEAN/SAGE region. The awards were received by Samantha Ratiyala, VP – Information Infrastructure, and Kithsiri Senaratne – Head of Services, from Managing Director ASEAN and SAGE, K. Raman. Held under the theme ‘Turn Today’s Vision into Tomorrow’s Reality, Together’, the ASEAN partner forum was the first event of its kind by Oracle, a move away from the traditional APAC regional events focused on specific business verticals. This forum was held over three days with the intention of recognising outstanding partners, meeting with key stake holders within the partner network, refining business strategies to differentiate business offerings and to drive business profitability. This event marked the first time Oracle recognised their all-round partners, post their regional line-of-business restructure. This hails a new era for Oracle, in line with their new mantra ‘Hardware, Software – Complete’. Faiq Faiz, Executive VP of MillenniumIT, said: “This is a great validation of the work we do with Oracle. This award places us in the region as a prestigious SI and an Oracle Applications partner. This award also reflects the strength of our Oracle implementations, acknowledges us for our technical excellence and reaffirms the trust placed in us by Oracle.” MillenniumIT was selected from amongst 60 strong and competitive partners from the ASEAN region. As such, winning the prestigious ‘Specialised Partner of the Year’ award is not only a proud moment for MillenniumIT, it also places Sri Lanka on the map as a respected IT hub.
