Mobitel Cash Bonanza winners receive cash prizes worth Rs. 75 m in past 6 months

Mobitel announced that it has distributed cash prizes worth an overwhelming Rs. 75 million within the past six months to the winners of the Cash Bonanza grand draw as part of an exclusive Rs. 150 million cash prize giveaway this year, which is the largest cash prize to be rewarded by a company in the telecom industry.

Mobitel pre-paid customers M.H. Akila Randun Jayawardena from Ratmalana, S.K. Ravindra Pushpa Kumara from Dodanduwa, K.A. Ariyadasa from Pelawatta, K.G.T.C. Fernando from Alawwa and D.H.M. Wimalasiri from Udawela all received individual cash prizes worth Rs. 500,000 through the Cash Bonanza monthly draw. Meanwhile pre-paid customer A.L. Sampath from Ratnapura emerged the grand winner of the tri-monthly grand draw receiving a cash prize worth a staggering Rs. 2.5 million. Mobitel post-paid customers S.A. Prasanna from Ambilipitiya, B.H.A. Priyangani from Udugoda and R.A. Imali Randima Ranatunga from Bembulla received cash prizes worth Rs. 500,000 respectively through the monthly draw, while post-paid customer K.W. Jayantha from Vijithapura was awarded a staggering cash prize of Rs. 2.5 million through the tri-monthly draw. While over 1,000 Mobitel customers emerge winners through the daily Cash Bonanza draw, a total of 374,125 customers are expected to win cash prizes throughout this year. Eight customers would receive Rs.

500,000 through the monthly draw while two winners will emerge winners through the three-month grand draw receiving a cash prize worth Rs. 2.5 million. Throughout 2014, the Mobitel Cash Bonanza will distribute cash prizes worth a staggering Rs. 150 million to its winners. Mobitel Pre-Paid, Post-Paid and Broadband customers are eligible to win a cash prize through the Mobitel Cash Bonanza draw with every Rs. 50 cash recharge or post-paid bill value. The cash winnings of daily draw winners would be added to their special Mobitel ‘mCash’ account which can be activated by dialling #111#.
