Mobitel launches WiFi Zone at Kaduruwela-Colombo main bus stand in Polonnaruwa

Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka Director General M.M. Zuhair P.C, North Central Provincial Council Chief Minister Peshala Jayarathne Bandara, Thamankaduwa Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman Pemasiri Munasinghe, Thamankaduwa Pradeshiya Sabha Member Amith Shantha Wallage, Sri Lanka Telecom Chairman P.G. Kumarasinghe and Mobitel Chief Executive Officer Ranjith G. Rubasinghe launching the WiFi zone     The National Mobile Service Provider Mobitel declared open the WiFi zone of the Kaduruwela-Colombo main bus stand in Polonnaruwa, which is another initiative in line with the ongoing Government program of providing free WiFi to key public locations in the country. In order to use the WiFi network, users need to first visit the nearest Mobitel branch, SLT Teleshop or dealer point in order to register for the service where a password will be issued. The user is entitled to 100 MB per month on the WiFi network at any of the WiFi facilitated zones islandwide.
