Mobitel rewards May 2011 Double Bonanza Winners

The Mobitel Double Bonanza May 2011 winners were grandly rewarded at a recently held ceremony at the Mobitel Engineering office in Welikada.

Since its unveiling in October 2009, the competition has rewarded lucky participants for 18 consecutive months and is the pioneer sweepstake scheme within the Telecommunication category in the country, to offer valuable motor cars as prizes for Post Paid and Pre Paid users.

The proud recipient of the Brand New Suzuki Maruti Alto K10 Motor car for the Month of May 2011 at the Pre-Paid draw was Hewage Siril, a resident of Uragasmanhandiya while the lucky winners to walk away with ASUS Laptop computers inclusive of 3.5G high speed internet dongles were E.M.A.R. Dissanayaka of Weerambugedara, M. Nalinda Tharaka Fernando of Ratnapura, H.W.G. Piyasena of Ratmalana and K.K. Dilshan Chaminda of Ingiriya and A.M. Jagath Ananda of Gomarankadawala.

The lucky winner of the May 2011 Post Paid draw to drive away with a Brand New Suzuki Maruti Alto K10 motor car was Muddaragama resident, W.A.K. Chandralal while H.M.D.S.K. Senevirathne of Nittambuwa, B.A.S.P. Perera of Rajagiriya, Nalika Godallage of Anuradhapura and M.L.S.S. Perera of Udugampola were the lucky recipients of the ASUS Laptop computers inclusive of 3.5G high speed internet dongles.

Upon completion of two successful years, the SMART Recharge Bonanza entered its third year with the birth of the ‘Mobitel Double Bonanza’. The Mobitel Double Bonanza comprises 24 Suzuki Maruti Alto K10 cars to be won monthly and 105 Asus Laptop computers with 3.5G high speed internet dongles to be won weekly throughout 2011. Stemming from the success of the SMART Recharge Bonanza for Pre Paid customers, the scheme has now been opened to Post Paid & Broadband customers including Pre Paid customers of the Mobitel family until December 2011.

Mobitel customers can find out their eligibility to participate in the competition and the draw chances by dialing #151#. However, in order to qualify for the competition, the Mobitel number has to be registered in compliance with the Mobitel subscriber registration policy. The winners of the Mobitel Double Bonanza draw are rewarded in the presence of Ernst and Young, External auditors of Mobitel and officials of the Western Province Revenue Department.
