Mobitel’s ‘Cash Bonanza’ nears 1,000 winners

Cash Bonanza, a sweepstake competition launched specifically for Mobitel’s pre-paid customer base, has produced 982 winners at the end of its 11th week, rewarding Rs. 12.3 million in cash prizes. During the 10th and 11th week, the company witnessed a total of 134 winners being awarded Rs. 2.1million.

Winning the top prize for the 10th week, H.M.C.K. Herath from Bandarawela walked away with the grand prize of Rs. 350,000. She was followed by Nalini Hettiarachchi from Thanamalwila who won the second prize of Rs. 200,000.

Cash Bonanza’s 11th week awarded H.R.W. Sahabandu of Battaramulla with Rs. 500,000 while R.B.L.C. Premadasa from Ratnapura won Rs. 200,000. Cash Bonanza entails weekly draws right throughout the span of the promotion. Mobitel’s pre-paid customers qualify for the draw with every reload of Rs. 50.
