Mobitel’s Cash Bonanza rewards a staggering Rs. 63.5mn in 2013

One lucky winner walks away with a cash prize of Rs. 2 m at the year-end grand draw Mobitel’s Cash Bonanza ended the year 2013, rewarding 2,690 winners throughout the year, with a total of Rs. 63.5 m in cash prizes. The year-end draw for 2013, held today also produced Cash Bonanza’s biggest winner of Rs. 2 m. Winners of the weekly Cash Bonanza draws throughout 2013 were also eligible for the grand year-end draw.

L.B.J. De Silva of Moratuwa was the lucky winner of the grand prize of Rs. 2 m at the year-end grand draw of Mobitel’s Cash Bonanza. Furthermore, 10 winners were offered cash prizes each worth Rs. 300,000, while 10 more pre-paid customers of Mobitel became the lucky winners of cash prizes each worth Rs. 200,000. The Cash Bonanza Draw also produced 50 lucky winners of Rs. 75,000 cash prizes and 150 winners each receiving a cash prize worth Rs.25,000. Cash Bonanza will run until December 2014. The 2014 Mobitel Cash Bonanza will be held under three main stages. The daily draw will select 1,025 winners who will be awarded cash prizes up to Rs. 500, while eight winners will be selected for cash prizes worth Rs. 500,000. Quarterly prize draws will select two lucky winners, and each winner will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 2.5 m. Mobitel’s pre-paid, post-paid and broadband customers are eligible to win a cash prize through Mobitel’s Cash Bonanza draw with every Rs. 50 cash re-charge or post-paid bill value. The cash winnings of daily draw winners will be added to their special Mobitel ‘mCash’ account which can be activated by dialling #111#.
