New Samsung Smartphone cafe opens in Maradana

ST Distributors of Colombo 12, a leading handheld communication and equipment supplier in central Colombo, opened a new Samsung Smartphone cafe yesterday, at Second Division Maradana.

Coinciding with the flagship of Galaxy S series shipment, surpassing its 100 million units shipment, all around the world since its launch 30 months ago.

The ceremony was glamoured by the presence of Samsung Electronics Sri Lanka President/Managing Director H.K. Chang, Vice president of John Keells Office Automation Pradeep Dias and ST Distributors Managing Director Abdul Razack Kassam.

Samsung received highly-respected awards from the recently-held 17 Global Mobile Awards 2012 at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona.

The news comes from Android Central in the form of a blog post in which they discuss Samsung’s win at the prestigious awards and how the Galaxy S II compares with all the exciting devices announced at MWC such as the HTC One S, Huawei Ascend, Xperia P/U and so on.

The award-winners were announced by GSMA the people behind MWC. Samsung has won two awards, ‘Device manufacturer of the year’ and ‘Best Smartphone’ for its Galaxy S II.
