Being the first of its kind, the workshop on Software Testing leading to Certified Software Tester (CAST) Certification which will be held in Colombo end July has been received very well by corporates and individual professionals from diverse industries in Sri Lanka. The two-day workshop by a QAI Master-Trainer will be supplemented by a one-month email support with QAI. This mentoring is another unique feature designed to provide support to the participants in their achievement of the QAI certification. Further fresh graduates could utilise these workshops and certification to gain highly employable skills and qualification. The workforce development and consulting arm of OpenArc Campus, OpenArc Global Consultancy aims to make this world class training and certification accessible through a series of workshop style training. Those completing the training and the mentoring could do their certification exam at OpenArc test centre. For the past 30 years Quality Assurance Institute (QAI), a US-based workforce development organisation, has been assisting organisations worldwide to reach operational excellence through its renowned competency building and certification programs. In the past only a few Sri Lankan companies had access to QAI consulting and training as there is a huge cost in bringing down foreign trainers for internal training programs. However now corporates, IT companies, banks, government departments and other organisations in the wider spectrum of industries could now have their workforce trained within a short period of time utilising QAI International trainers and industry experts. QAI currently has trained over 160,000 professionals across 200 plus organisations and has provided individual certifications exceeding  40,000 across the globe, including US, Europe, India, China, Singapore, and Africa.  For more information on these seminars please visit www.openarc.edu.lk.
