PACE Institute wins two prestigious Redhat ‘Overseas Training Partner’ awards

Sri Lankan IT training institute PACE bagged two coveted awards at the RedHat Training Partner Conference 2014 /15, held at Vivanta by Taj, Hari Mahal in Jodhpur, Rajasthan from 4-6 November. 

PACE was awarded the best overseas training partner of the year for courseware revenue and the best overseas training partner of the year for total revenue awards. PACE CEO Sajith de Silva and Vice President Kapila Withanage participated in the RedHat Training Partner Conference to receive these prestigious awards.

PACE was selected out of hundreds of training partners spread across the globe based on their brilliant performance within the last two years in delivering a number of best results holders in Sri Lanka. 

The PACE Institute is one of the two Redhat certified training partners in Sri Lanka with a strong history in delivering some of the best results in the island. PACE students have repeatedly scored full results during the last two years, making PACE the strongest option for RedHat certification.

The Partner Conference was themed ‘the Change’. A number of prominent speakers made thought-provoking presentations on how the future of the world changes with Linux. They educated the gathering of RedHat Training Partners on the importance of developing Linux professionals as the world needs more than 1,000,000 qualified Linux professionals. The exponential growth of the Linux ecosystem worldwide is bound to fuel the demand for them even further. 

This year’s conference was a heady mix of knowledge, celebration and preparedness for the exciting prospects of the future. The participants got the opportunity to interact with the RedHat Leadership and to meet industry peers and witness some great speeches and presentations. A highlight of the conference was the presentation by the world-famous Mumbai ‘Dabbawala’ organisation where they explained how they had delivered and returned more than 200,000 lunch boxes in a day with as such a tiny room for error as one in a million. This excellently run system is a perfect example of a planned and focused system yielding much higher productivity and efficiency. 

The RedHat GALA was a grand event which was held at Udaipur dessert in a most colourful and vibrant environment. The PACE Institute and many other education institutes received recognition for their untiring efforts in building top RedHat Certified Linux professionals.
