PEO TV unveils cost effective networking with regional offices for firms

SLT PEO TV has revolutionised the way of watching television and has created a great impact in the minds of the local community by offering unique and exciting features such as Rewind TV, Time Shifted TV, Video on Demand and PEO APPS. Instead of the traditional TV viewing experience, PEO TV offers more convenience greater choice and maximum control to watch what you want, when you want. This channel facility can be introduced as a highly effective medium to enhance corporate communications to all the stakeholders with the ability of delivering audio and video messages faster than any other similar medium. Speaking on behalf of SLT PEO TV Malraj Balapitiya, Chief Executive Officer of SLT PEO TV, said: “We are proud to introduce this service as another first from PEO TV, which will certainly revolutionise the organisational culture and help increase efficiencies.” He also added: “This private television networking system will be ideal for banks, Government authorities and educational institutions to distribute knowledge, training, marketing and product information and many more to its networks spread island-wide, to save millions of rupees spent on event management and travel.” Sri Lanka Telecom introduced the IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) technology to Sri Lanka under the brand name PEO TV (Personalised Entertainment Option). SLT PEO TV offers a host of services to its customers including Live TV Services, Time Shift TV, Rewind TV, Video on Demand, Subscription Video on Demand and many interactive applications and services. SLT PEO TV currently has an active subscriber base of over 80,000 around the island and presently, customers can enjoy over 80 local and international TV channels.
