Human resources are one of the most critical aspects for the development of any country. Sri Lanka needs human resources trained in various skills to take the economy, as well as the entire country, to the next level. Therefore, it is important to train school leavers in necessary areas in a novel way. Lanka BPO Academy has taken steps to do this effectively. It is a dedicated training organisation that aims to train human resources for the benefit of Sri Lanka. It has a focus on IT, business, management, customer service, accounting and investment related areas. The academy is the first and only training institute in Sri Lanka that specialises in training for the outsourcing industry in Sri Lanka including Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) and Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO).
