PwC, a leading Gold Certified Partner of Microsoft, facilitated and managed the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV at Flintec. The implementation was focused on the modular areas of finance management, sales and marketing, purchasing, warehousing and manufacturing. The project was carried out based on PwC’s proprietary ‘Transform’ methodology which is used to assess the current state, design the future state, construct the system design, implement the solution and maintain the solution through continuous review. During the implementation, processes were re-engineered with inputs from PwC knowledge repositories to embrace the standard industry practices followed around the world. The Enterprise Resource Planning solution was implemented in its vanilla state whilst catering to the business requirement through workarounds and process reengineering to allow Flintec to seamlessly adopt future product upgrades. Post implementation, the solution has been integrated with manufacturing process automation systems to enable operational excellence. With the implementation and integration, Flintec has been successfully enabled to streamline and automate processes with new efficiencies, obtain accurate and reliable management information on-time for better decision making, standardising documents and transaction processing across departments and improve worker efficiency.
