QuIS by JKCS wins bronze at NBQSA 2013

QuIS: The Quality Information System offered by JKCS secured the bronze award under the Industrial Applications category at the National Best Quality Software Awards ceremony held recently at The Kingsbury. The event was organised by BCS (British Computer Society) Sri Lanka, where it brought to limelight true Sri Lankan IT talent by JKCS yet again. The product was celebrated for its edge offered to the manufacturing industry at the event and recognised as an outstanding contribution laying foundations to the next generation automation of Manufacturing Quality Assurance. What is QuIS? QuIS is built around the concept of advanced traceability for minimising damages and wastage in the manufacturing process. From raw material quality control to finished product delivery the traceability feature runs fully-fledged both forwards and backwards with a comprehensive Laboratory Module. This ensures accurate tracking of contamination and other production related drawbacks in a manufacturing process to ensure optimum efficiency. Crafting its initial footprints into manufacturing industry over a decade ago QuIS to date supports Quality Assurance for one of the most sophisticated and complex manufacturing processes in the world producing 20,000 units per minute in plants located in Sri Lanka and Pakistan.
