Leading IP telephony manufacturer Rhino has appointed Micro Village Communications as distributor for the South Asia markets of India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Maldives, and Mauritius.
Micro Village would appoint close to 400 resellers across the country to resell the products.
“IP Telephony market in India is booming, we see great opportunities with call centers, BPOS and even traditional business entities implementing CRM applications,” said V.R. Kirubakaran, Director Business Development, Micro Village Group.
Apart from IP telephony cards, Kirubakaran said that Micro Village will distribute the open source Asterisk based appliances.
“After the early success we have seen within the South Asia region, we believe that partnering with a distributor like Micro Village can further grow Rhino’s support and presence to local partners and customers. With Micro Village’s large reseller community, physical presence and years of experience across the region, including affirmative compliance with export requirements, it can provide resellers with improved support of Rhino’s full product line,” said Jeff Smith, Founder, the Rhino line of telecommunications products.
