Saberion launches SMS ADS platform for classified ads

Saberion Ltd. recently announced the launch of SMS ADS, a unique platform supporting classified advertisements via your mobile. The platform allows users to post, search and view advertisements both on their mobiles and on the web site www.smsads.lk.

     

Being an SMS based service it does not require a smart phone and is available in all three languages, English, Sinhala and Tamil.

Developed on Dialog’s Ideamart engine, the solution offers quick and easy submission and search options and is 100% secure ensuring mobile numbers and e-mails are only visible should the advertiser choose to show them.  

The website offers a unique feature that allows interested buyers to contact sellers who choose to have their information confidential by sending an SMS via the web site.

The content on all advertisements posted are checked and moderated to ensure quality. The advanced search capabilities offered are driven by ‘full text index searching,’ which is the same technology used by Google.
