IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announces that Samson Rubber Industries (SRI) Ltd. has decided to upgrade its existing IFS solution to IFS Applications 9. 

Having used IFS enterprise software since 2008, SRI, which is part of the DSI Samson Group, will deploy IFS Applications 9 to integrate its entire manufacturing process and supply chain. The IFS solution also includes enterprise asset management (EAM) capabilities to streamline the maintenance of its state-of-the-art machinery as well as functionality supporting finance and business intelligence through the innovative IFS Lobby interface.  

”We have extended our successful partnership of seven years with IFS with the signing of this upgrade agreement,” SRI Managing Director Ranatunga Rajapaksa said. “IFS Applications 9 will provide the company with much-needed business intelligence capabilities, which is a strategic need of the company. As we compete in volatile global markets, we need to keep our operations agile and lean and therefore, fast and reliable information is a key necessity. I am confident that IFS Applications 9 will serve our business needs well.”

The upgrade and the system implementation will be executed across all subsidiaries of SRI, including leading bicycle manufacturer Samson Bicycles Ltd., Mount Spring Bottles, and Samson Rubber Products.
