Samsung Sri Lanka succeeded in achieving a record sale of Rs. 2.5 billion in March with the contribution of its partners – Singer, Singhagiri, JKOA, Softlogic Mobile and Softlogic Retail.

“The Sri Lankan consumer has empowered our journey in Sri Lanka tremendously. I want to thank them for the loyalty extended towards Samsung products which enabled us to achieve record breaking sales in March,” says Samsung Sri Lanka Managing Director Youngmin Shin. “I would also like to thank our partners for their consistent support towards Samsung,” he adds.

As a global brand committed to innovation, Samsung is consistently seeking new frontiers to master. The recent launch of the Galaxy S8 and S8+ in New York titled Galaxy Unpacked 2017, offered a glimpse into a world unconfined by boxes and barriers. The Galaxy S8 continues the legacy of Galaxy series and promises to be an entirely new mobile experience with features such as a bezel-less Infinity Display and Bixby, an intelligent interface with a new level of functionality and convenience.

“The promise of innovation and excitement of the Galaxy S8 will be unveiled in Sri Lanka on the 21st of April at Nelum Pokuna, when Samsung Sri Lanka introduces the S8 and the S8+ at a much awaited mega launch event open to the public. Consumers can expect cutting edge technology, smarter devices and convenience unplugged as Samsung unleashes its state-of-the-art innovation on Sri Lankan consumers who are invited to attend the launch,” says Youngmin Shin in conclusion.
