Samsung, platinum sponsor for Sri Lanka’s biggest IT shopping festival

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., a global leader in digital convergence technologies, came forward as the platinum sponsor of Sri Lanka’s biggest IT Shopping Festival 2013. The event which took place in September at Unity Plaza, Colombo saw the participation of IT operators and multinational IT giants under the same roof.
Samsung is recognised as one of the world’s most popular consumer brands in the world. With their key characteristics and innovative technology, the demands for Samsung products are immense. Some of their latest products were displayed at the festival which ranged from the new Galaxy series such as the Galaxy S4 to their latest laptops, notebooks and tabs. Samsung rolled out the Galaxy Studio at Unity Plaza to give potential customers the opportunity to experience their new smartphones and Tabs.
Samsung also unveiled the new Samsung Ativ Notebook range. They displayed the key functions and ability of the product which gained outstanding recognition and created excitement among festival attendees.

Samsung came forward as a platinum sponsor of the festival because of the vast potential they see as the Unity Plaza gains recognition for being an electronic hub. Some of their main partners and distributor for and with Samsung were Technocity Ltd. who are the distributors and resellers such as Ace com, Winsoft, PC Partner, Tech Zone, IT Galaxy and the Notebook arcade.
The IT Shopping Festival was designed to offer branded electronics at affordable and discounted prices and as a knowledge hub for the tech savvy.
