Sierra Global celebrates 10 years of success

Sierra Global Network Ltd, a leading telecommunication infrastructure development and managed services company, celebrated its 10th anniversary recently. In order to invoke blessings to the company as well as its management and the staff, an overnight ‘pirith ceremony’ was held at the office premises recently, followed by an almsgiving the next day.

This ceremony was conducted on a grand scale under the patronage of Ven. Galaboda Gnanissara Maha Thero, the Chief Incumbent of Hunupitiya Gangaramaya Temple and was well attended by all the staff members from 18 regional offices located across the country, their families and many other well wishers.

“We have implemented the highest number of base stations and telecommunication towers in Sri Lanka during past 10 years, and have always been at the forefront of latest technology where we are currently in the process of implementing the 4G technology for some of our clients. Further, plans are underway to undertake new projects in overseas markets including Maldives and the Philippines in the very near future,” said Dr. Arosha Fernando, Director/CEO of Sierra Global, during the ceremony.
