Sierra Global Network Private Limited, a leading telecommunication infrastructure development and managed services company, completed the acquisition of its 1,000th Base Station site recently at the Munneswaram Kovil premises in Chilaw, Puttalam District.
Since its establishment, Sierra Global has undertaken end-to-end site acquisition services in the form of network planning, site search, required approval obtainment from concerned government authorities to construct base stations/towers, other related telecommunication infrastructure as well as the obtainment of commercial power to the Base Station sites.
Currently, Sierra Global provides strategic support in this form to almost all the biggest names in telecom in Sri Lanka, which includes Airtel, Dialog, Mobitel, Hutch, Suntel and Lanka Bell.
