SWM is expecting to save a substantial amount of time and costs previously spent on HRM functions. SWM CEO Altaf Gaffar went on to say that, by introducing facial recognition machines and software, they can not only ensure accuracy, it will also speedup the attendance throughout as the time taken to register an employee is under a second.

Sigiri Weaving Mills is one of the longest established manufacturers of textile fabrics in Sri Lanka.

Whilst it commenced operations as a partnership in 1965, it was incorporated as a limited liability company in 1979, the same year in which iOM was incorporated (then as EDS) in Hong Kong. iOM is presently head quartered in Singapore and has operations in over seven countries.
