Singer Sri Lanka PLC, the country’s premier consumer durables retailer, tied up with the Ministry of Higher Education to provide laptops for university students across the country as per the program to provide interest free loans for laptops by the government of Sri Lanka. As per the Government budget proposal 2016, the project is implemented jointly by the Ministry of Higher Education and Highways, Ministry of Finance, University Grants Commission and Universities under the UGC.
Through this partnership, Singer Sri Lanka will offer DELL and Singer X-Series laptops to university students on a special interest-free loan scheme from two banking giants, People’s Bank and Bank of Ceylon organised by the Ministry of Higher Education. Students will have the option of choosing from a wide array of high performing laptops with the latest Intel 6th Generation i3 and i5 Processors and all laptops are equipped with latest features and genuine Windows 10 operating system.
Any student who chooses to buy a laptop from Singer will be benefited with the convenience of reaching our branches close to any university located island wide. Students will be able to choose from DELL and Singer X-Series laptops with three years of trusted warranty and Singer after sales services offered through our service network spread across the country.
