Emojot Inc., a client engagement platform for real-time analysis of customer perceptions which was grown in Sri Lanka, participated at ‘The Events Show’ which took place 1-2 September in Sydney, Australia.

The event showcased current trends, products and services in the events industry. Among these augmented reality, virtual reality and real time emotive feedback were ranked as three of the most innovative technologies that are impacting the events industry worldwide.

Emojis are the fastest growing language and Emojot is currently the only technology platform in the world that can instantly analyse streaming crowd perceptions to meaningfully respond to targeted client segments in real-time. It uses emojis to capture moment-by-moment sentiment in a language agnostic manner and has a built-in gratification process which results in a very rich and engaging user experience.

Emojot COO Manjula Dissanayake participated in a Tech Talk on the ‘Top 3 Event Technologies’ where he explained how the company’s technology works and how it can be used during a live event to analyse, capture and report the emotions of an audience. “During the session I was able to provide examples of actual events where real time emotive feedback was used and demonstrate the impact it had on the delegates and outcomes of the event.”

‘The Events Show’ was organised by Meetings and Events Australia (MEA) a national, independent not for profit organisation dedicated to servicing the needs of the meetings and events industry and promoting it as an important high-yield sector of business travel and tourism.

Emojot is an innovation that started three years ago as a university research project at the leading Engineering University in Sri Lanka (also known as the “MIT of Sri Lanka”). The founding team comprises the idea originator and research supervisor, the two research students and a specialist in this area. The team is located in three countries – Sri Lanka, Australia and USA – and has managed to make impressive strides in a very short period of time.

The product platform is completely built out and its endless possibilities are now driving a passionate marketing and sales effort. Emojot technology is patent-pending in the USA. Visit www.emojot.com for more information.
