The Colombo Test Automation Conference (CTAC) is organised envisioning to be the pioneering test automation annual conference in Sri Lanka, providing a platform to all test automation professionals to meet, present and challenge ideas. The event is hosted in collaboration with the SLASSCOM Quality Circle and the Colombo Selenium Meetup group bringing together engineers from industry and academia to discuss trends in test automation and quality engineering practices.
The first ever CTAC is planned to be held on 24 November from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Dialog Axiata Auditorium, Colombo, focusing on the theme ‘Success in Front End Test Automation with Open Source Tools’.
The conference will feature an experienced panel of speakers including Pearson Lanka Head of Quality Engineering Sanjeewa Senarath, Pearson Lanka Architect – Quality Engineering Rifa Salam, MillenniumIT Head of Quality Assurance Sisira Kumara, CAKE LABS Head of QA and Process Dilhan Manawadu, VirtusaPolaris Senior Manager Kanchana Wickramasinghe and Pragmatic Test Labs Chief Executive Office Janesh Kodikara.
The conference will be a platform to gain knowledge on Automation Team Building, Strategy with Open Source, Consistency in Execution, ROI and Value and Tool selection support. Following topics will be presented and discussed during the panel discussion subsequent to the presentations.
