Sri Lanka’s first internet research solutions company to expand within local market

athandz, Sri Lanka’s pioneering internet based research organisation unveiled plans for expansion within the local market under its new ownership.



Launched under parent company Infoserve, athandz is dedicated towards internet based market research for consumers. It was brought under the group of the nation’s leading information and communication technology solutions provider, PC House PLC (PCH), following the acquisition of majority of shares by PCH last November.  

Currently catering primarily to the European market, the company plans to increase their local portfolio this year to the other parts of the world.

 “About 95 per cent of our clients are based in Europe and at the moment we have comparatively fewer local clients,” explained athandz Infoserve Private Limited Chairman and PC House PLC Group Chairman S. H. M. Rishan.

“With the growth in the Sri Lankan economy and the growth of local companies, we believe that our knowledge based products are well suited for many local companies looking to expand abroad as we possess a wealth of expertise and knowledge in the international scenario.”

A host of research facilities, both intelligence services and marketing services, which are highly applauded by the international market, are now being introduced to the local arena. athandz’s solutions assortment includes scanning for competitor activities, monitoring specified brands, scrutinising the technology landscape for emerging technologies, providing news alerts, collecting company specific information, researching product patents and country specific laws and regulations, market and industry research as well as aiding in the organisation, categorisation and analysis of the data collected.
