Unity Plaza IT festival is back

After the successful festival carried out last year, this year Unity Plaza along with their tenants, renowned IT operators and multinational brands, have organised the 2nd IT Shopping Festival. The festival is scheduled to take place from 17 – 24 December from 10 am to 8 pm at Unity Plaza, Colombo 04. “The Unity IT shopping festival is not only about value bargains, but enables the younger generation to get acquainted with the latest IT innovations on offer. Customers will love the deals and have the opportunity of seeing the latest gadgets,” Unity IT Festival 2014 Organising Committee Chairman Kamil Sherrif noted. In line with the objective of this festival all the retail stores and IT solution providers in the mall will collectively offer special bundles, total package deals and 4th generation products at economical prices. Adding to the excitement, several technology launches and a chance to win airline tickets at the raffle draws are also organised.                   “Unity Plaza is the only place a customer can walk in to choose a product of their choice, bargain, touch them and buy them off the shelf. It is a place for every level of computer requirement, be it a student, IT professional or gaming enthusiast,” Tech Zone Chairman Mohamed Naushad stated. Adding variety to this year’s agenda, different lifestyle events will take place daily with Tech Day on 17 December, Corporate Day on 18 December, Youth Day on 19 December, Music Day on 20 December, Family Day on 21 December, Gifts Day on 22 December and Ladies Day on 23 December. Fun activities, special promotions and mini events are lined up to complement each day.
