Zhara Hospitality Suite by JKCS wins overall gold at NBQS Awards

Zhara HS by JKCS secured the overall gold award and category award for Tourism and Hospitality software at the National Best Quality Software awards ceremony held on 19 October at Hotel Galadari. The event was organised by BCS (British Computer Society) Sri Lanka, bringing to limelight true Sri Lankan IT talent by JKCS yet again.



Preceded by many outstanding accomplishments in the field of ICT in Sri Lanka, JKCS left a benchmark at the recent 14th National Best Quality Software Awards with its achievement. The company was selected from a competitive pool of applicants bringing forward the product Suite as the Overall Winner for the evening. Zhara Hospitality Suite bagged the No. 1 spot from among 43 companies in 19 categories proving yet again JKCS’ potential in delivering world class software solutions.

The product Suite was celebrated for its edge offered to the local tourism industry at the event and recognized as an outstanding contribution by JKCS in taking the hotel industry to the next level.

Crafting its initial footprints in the local hotel industry in 2010 Zhara HS has grown extensively within the past two years catering to over 2500 rooms at 24 hotels across the island. Backed by this promising clientele which includes a few of the key players in the Sri Lankan Hospitality industry, the product revolutionised the ICT edge for hotels with its cloud based product offering and end to end process automation system for any type of accommodation provider.

Zhara HS is honoured to be at the pinnacle of one of Sri Lanka’s most recognised awards competitions honouring excellence in the ICT industry backed by the British Computer Society.

“Amidst the many well acclaimed competitors in the arena at NBQSA this year emerging victorious overall was definitely an inexpressible moment for us and we have to say that if it wasn’t for our committed clientele we wouldn’t have made it this far,” said J.C. Ekanayake, Chief Operating officer at JKCS.

The National Best Quality ICT Awards (NBQSA) competition is an annual event organised by the BCS The Chartered Institute for IT Sri Lanka (BCSSL) Section.
