An interesting corporate event to look forward to is the Strategy Summit organised by the Business School of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) and supported by ZILLIONe Business Solutions, as a Silver Sponsor.

The summit that is scheduled for 29 and 30 July at the Mount Lavinia Hotel, will feature seven internationally-renowned speakers – David Avrin, Greg Bernarda, Jeroen De Flander, Ravi Fernando, Andrew Grant, Dr. Amith Kapoor and Vusi Thembekwayo – who will share their insights on how to envision and implement a successful business strategy, and gearing to strategically take on the future.

David Avrin is one of the most in-demand marketing and branding speakers known as The Visibility Coach in America, the Asia Pacific region, London and Dubai. He is the author of three books including the acclaimed ‘It’s Not Who You Know, It’s Who Knows YOU!’

Greg Bernarda works with some leading organisations on strategy, creativity and innovation. Bernarda’s clients range across sectors and industries, including among others: Colgate-Palmolive, the Nokia Group, Volkswagen, Michelin, Capgemini Consulting, Harvard Business School, and the World Economic Forum.

Jeroen De Flander is considered as one of the world’s most influential thinkers on strategy execution and a highly-regarded keynote speaker, having helped more than 23,500 managers of over 75 leading companies in over 35 countries master the necessary execution skills. 

Ravi Fernando is the Operations Director at the Malaysian Blue Ocean Strategy Institute, with work experience in Unilever, Smithkline Beecham International and Reckitt Benckiser, having worked in these companies as CEO and in other management level positions. He is also the recipient of the ‘Global Strategy Leadership Award’ at the World Strategy Summit for his work on ethical branding for the Sri Lankan apparel and tea sectors.

Andrew Grant is the CEO of Tirian International and specialises in organisation innovation through strategic leadership and team development and has served in various high profile positions including being CEO for a wide range of Fortune 500 companies.

Dr. Amith Kapoor is the President and CEO of India Council on Competitiveness and the chair for the Social Progress Imperative and Shared Value Project in India, who also sits on the board of Competitiveness initiatives in Mexico, Netherlands, Italy and France.

The Strategic Summit includes an evening networking session with the keynote speakers. A book signing will also take place by Jeroen De Flander, who will autograph his book ‘Strategy Execution Shortcut,’ which is one of the world’s leading books on strategy execution .
