Held at East Square in Macau between 8 and 16 September 2012, the Asian Beer and Food Festival brings together Asia’s best known beer brands and the region’s favorite foods for more than a week of great festival fun.

Over nine days, guests visiting the Asian Beer and Food Festival can sample the unique brewing skills of well-loved popular brands such as Asahi, San Miguel, Tsingtao and Macau Beer as well as a wide range of exotic brews from Japan, Thailand, the Philippines, Korea and China.

Chefs from Hotel Okura Macau, Banyan Tree Macau and the resort’s gourmet food plaza – Tastes of Asia, have created dishes inspired by traditional street foods that are popular at the vibrant markets, favorite bar districts and colorful roadside restaurants across the region.

To entertain guests, live acts will perform on stage throughout the event, creating a lively party atmosphere. Percussion and dance shows will be followed by music from live bands, while guests can get involved with games and activities including a beer drinking contest for the brave.

During the beer festival, an Asian Beauty Contest promises to be a not-to-be-missed highlight of the day, celebrating beautiful ladies from amongst Galaxy Macau’s patrons of the Festival.

The Asian Beer Festival takes place from 5 p.m. until midnight on weekdays and from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. at weekends.
