Blockbuster fare on Hiru TV this week

Hiru TV’s efforts to enthral its audience with blockbuster movies, continues in the New Year as well with two interesting shows planned for this Saturday.

On Saturday 12 January at 12:00 noon Hiru TV will air ‘Transformers’ English movie with Sinhala subtitles. The movie depicts an ancient struggle between two extraterrestrial clans, the heroic autobots and the evil decepticons, comes to earth, with a clue to the ultimate power held by a young teenager.

Transformers is directed by Michael Bay, bringing it more light to the movie with the starts Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson.

On Saturday 10:00 p.m. Hiru TV will show ‘PaathShaala’ a Hindi movie with Sinhala subtitles.

The story revolves around children on a school campus.

It comments on the Indian education system and its shortcomings, directed by Milind Ukey, the movie is being given life by Shahid Kapoor, Ayesha Takia, Ali Haji and Nana Patekar.
