The Ceylon Continental Hotel’s sophisticated sports bar Heist will take the favourite Pub Lunch back to its roots for this Rugby World Cup season.

Inspired by the success of its previous promotions with Wraps, Burgers and Rice, the Heist has introduced a range of crusty specials to its expanding lunchtime menu. The menu will be available during lunch hour from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Heist at an all-inclusive price of Rs. 450.

‘Back to the Roots’ features popular European lunch specials such as chicken and mushroom pie, steak and mushroom pie, fish and chips, shepherd’s pie and bangers and mash with onion gravy.

This promotion is the latest in a line that has included hot burgers, tangy wraps and varieties of rice, all of which are still part of the Heist’s diverse dining experience.

“Since its re-launch in 2010, the Heist has become a popular watering hole for local and foreign patrons and is increasingly frequented by executives for a quick yet satisfying lunch. Guests choosing ‘Back to the Roots, can enjoy a 50% discount on selected beverages including soft drinks to accompany their lunch during the Rugby world cup matches” newly appointed Director Food & Beverage, Joerg  Becker said.

‘Back to the Roots’ is another endeavour of the Ceylon Continental Hotel to adapt to the demands of its expanding customer base.”
