‘Focuss’ official clothing partners Jaffna challengers

‘Focuss’ a fully owned subsidiary of Emerald international was named the official clothing provider for the Jaffna Challengers captained by Yositha Rajapakshe.

‘Focuss’ is also the official clothing provider for the National Rugby Teams and see this partnership with Jaffna Challengers as an extension to their strong ties and involvement with the game of rugby.

Emerald International over the years have been strongly recognized for its partnerships in the sporting arena which associations with, Sri Lankan Cricket though its flagship brand Emerald, Sri Lankan Rugby through Focuss and Motor Racing with Crocodile.

When contacted Daniel Jeyasundrakumar Brand Manager ‘Focuss’ he said, our objective is to make the game of rugby more popular in Sri Lanka through making the game more colourful, glamorous and fashionable. This is an integral requirement in enhancing and sustaining the sport. A statement made by many foreign coaches at the Carlton 7s was that Sri Lanka has the talent, flair and capabilities but needed more nurturing.

We hope tournaments like this will encourage more school boys to stay in the game longer and corporate like ‘Focuss’ to make the game more colourful, attractive and bring the much needed fashion element to the game in sustaining and improving local rugby to world class standards.
