Lanka Alzheimer’s Foundation’s AtoZ Scrabble Bash on 25 Feb.

For the fourth consecutive year, what has become a much looked forward to annual event in the Lanka Alzheimer’s Foundation’s fund raising activities is the AtoZ Scrabble Bash. This year, the Foundation is pleased to host the event at their very own auditorium situated at 110 Ketawalamulla Lane, Maradana, Colombo 10. Refreshments and lunch will be provided. Registration with the Centre office is a requirement, should you wish to participate in this tournament.

Scrabble experts Shaila Amalean and Anushika Kuruppu will be the moderators of the tournament, as they have done for the past three years. The Foundation is grateful to Barefoot and The Dutch Burgher Union for their sponsorship of the venue since 2009. Last year’s winners were Bernadette Silva and Lalantha Amarasinghe, while the runners up were Indra de Silva and Mahes Saranavapavan.

The tournament will be held on Saturday, 25 February and will kick off at 9.30a.m. Do call the Lanka Alzheimer’s Foundation on 2667080 and register with Jeevani. Individual sponsorship Rs. 2,500 and corporate sponsorship for a team of four participants Rs. 10,000.
