Traffic snarl on Old Kesbewa Road

A part of Old Kesbewa Road Delkanda close to Udyana Road collapsed into the canal over six months ago. For three months there was no action by the Land Reclamation Board.

They completed the iron piling over three months ago but no action has been taken to fill the gap. As a result there is a severe traffic snarl every morning at this point.

The SLLRDC is taking its own sweet time to complete this job, resulting in severe inconvenience to motorists, especially school vans.
