It’s both hilarious and irritating to see some of the prominent leaders of the former regime making huge noises through the media about some pending changes which the Government is planning to bring about in the country through democratic procedures.
G.L. Pieris, who with his high level of intellectual and academic capacity, just watched the enormous damage to our international reputation through numerous acts of misdeed by those whom he was expected to lead as head of the Foreign Ministry.
Some of the other leaders who are making these noises silently watched the former President and a few around him allowing unknown gangs to ruthlessly attack the media and those who opposed them politically.
To what extent can we “the public” watch this bluff?
