20% off for Combank credit card holders for George Calombaris events in Sri Lanka

Something is always cooking for Commercial Bank’s credit card holders, and celebrity chef George Calombaris’ visit to Sri Lanka in June will dish up fresh excitement for this segment. 

One of Australia’s best known chefs and restaurateurs, George Dimitrios Calombaris is a judge of the Network Ten series MasterChef Australia and has appeared on the daytime Network Ten cooking show ‘Ready Steady Cook.’ He draws on his Greek Cypriot and Italian heritage for inspiration. Calombaris owns several restaurants in Melbourne, including ‘The Press Club’.

The MasterChef Australia judge will be in Sri Lanka from 9-11 June taking part in a series of events organised by Cinnamon Life and powered by Commercial Bank’s VISA Infinite cards. The bank has teamed up with Cinnamon Life to offer its credit card holders a 20% discount on tickets for four scheduled events at the Cinnamon Grand hotel.

These events are ‘A Greek Feast’ on 9 and 10 June featuring gourmet Greek delights curated by the master chef himself; ‘Masterclass’ on 10 June featuring George in action; ‘Bid to Dine’ on 11 June, where one can bid to have the privilege of sitting down for lunch with George; and ‘High Tea’ on the same day.

Tickets for these events are priced between Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 35,000 per person, while selection for the exclusive sit down lunch with George Calombaris will be based on the bids made. The discounts offer is subject to a first-come, first-served basis and applicable for any credit card issued by Commercial Bank.
