Rescue Animals Sri Lanka (RAS) is gearing themselves for the ‘Bazaar of the season’ – The Santapaws Xmas bazaar which will be graced by Julie Chung as the Chief Guest, will take place on 1 December at the Atrium Lobby of the Cinnamon Grand from 10 am onwards; and that it certainly will be, with over 47 stalls selling everything you could possibly want for Christmas and the coming New Year.

Ranging from ladies, gents and kids clothing, footwear, cosmetics, both Batik as well as regular saris, jewellery, skin care, dreamy nightwear, handmade Designer handbags, accessories, homemade wines, chutneys and pickles, organic foods, Xmas décor, table and bed linen, cushions, arts and  crafts, stationery and greeting cards, crochet and knitted products, scented candles, perfumes, health and gluten free foods, Vegan foods, bath and body care, Xmas goodies, a range of speciality foods from the Cinnamon Grand, macramé, household items, and well – just about everything you will need for a very merry Christmas and a fabulous New Year.

Hospitality partner Cinnamon Grand, headed by the dynamic Cinnamon Colombo Hotels Area Vice President and Cinnamon Grand Colombo General Manager Kamal Munasinghe who is ably assisted by Dini Isaacs, Social Media Partner Zelus, Print Media Partner Wijeya Newspapers Ltd.,  Videographer ProImage, Brian Kerkoven, Linen and I, Mega Lifesciences, Niru, Printers OfficeMax, and the amazing RAS team, have done wonders in putting together what will definitely be the GO - TO PLACE this season for all your gifts.

An important feature of the Santapaws Xmas bazaar is that four complimentary stalls have been allocated to the Indira Cancer Trust, Alzheimer’s Foundation, The Rehabilitation Centre for the Communication Impaired [RCCI] and Sisters At Law, a charity that helps abused women and girls, for them to sell goods and raise funds for their own charities. The ‘Jax Dip’ which is a lucky dip named after the RAS mascot who is a miniature Dachshund whose spine is broken in three places, will be available at the Cinnamon Grand Lobby by the RAS ticket counter and will be launched with the first donation of a toy by Kamal Munasinghe and other partners. Any toys and children’s gifts – clothes in good condition, packaged and dried food stuffs, etc., could be handed over to RAS Founder Anusha David or members of the RAS team by calling or messaging  0777555565, 0777366737, 0779082341, or 0777585998. All of these will be handed over to the Children’s Ward of the Cancer Hospital and the Jinananda Children’s Orphanage in Wellawatte.  So save the date for the ultimate shopping experience – one that will help both humans and animals; after all we all co habit our beautiful planet.
