7Stories Ranjanas: A shopping mall with single entry and exit point

Rising 7 stories high, 7Stories Ranjanas, stands tall attracting the eye of all passers-by with its intricately adorned exterior while the small glimpses of exquisite items displayed through the windows beckon one to step inside to explore. Each floor has its own story to tell and as one walks through, a tale of choice, quality and allure unfolds for the whole family to indulge in. Fashioned under the vision of Ranjanas CEO/Director and S/O Deshamanya K. Doraisamy (group Chairman and Veteran businessman) Dr. D. Venkateshwaran, the whole concept encompassing this wonderful shopping mall has come alive with their dedication and passion. “We cater to the families from all walks of life,” said Dr. Venkateshwaran. “There is a wrong perception that as this building’s elevation is big, we cater to a higher market segment. But our prices are very competitive and branded items in the store are not duplicate. I am very concerned about the quality and variety.” Fashioned as a shopping mall that is a one-stop-shopping destination with a single entry and exit point, a shopper’s journey to unlimited options will start from the basement where the 7’O’ Fresh supermarket, a fully fledged supermarket, is located. Aisles filled with goods are neatly stacked and spaciously arranged while imported Indian and Arabic food items are available for purchase as well. A fresh fish section, newly opened, is also available. Adding to this extensive variety at 7Stories Ranjanas, Koluu, Sri Lanka’s celebrated chef, launched his spice line, ‘Spice it Up!’ on 7 January at a gala function. Now customers who step into Ranjanas can easily purchase the range of Spice it Up! spices and whip up scrumptious Sri Lankan dishes, Koluu’s way.         Each floor accommodates a mezzanine section The ground floor houses decors, watches (Indian, Japanese and Swiss), designer jewels, perfumes, cosmetics, sunglasses, handbags, artificial flowers, pens and much more that encompass world renowned brands. Each floor also accommodates a mezzanine section and the ground floor mezzanine section includes linen items, mattresses and items essential to create a comfy home. First floor has a number of household items, stationeries, electronics and an orthodox collection of handicraft that are deftly arranged while the mezzanine section includes branded toys to appease young ones and sports equipment such as Dunlop rackets, leather cricket items and Rugby and a host of other items for the sporty individuals. “Step inside and explore Ranjanas and if you are happy tell others and if there is room for improvement let us know so we can oblige our most important customers to fulfil all their shopping needs,” affirmed the CEO. At the second floor little ones, below 15 years of age, will be able to find an array of clothing choices, accessories and footwear to choose from. Furthermore, the mezzanine floor incorporates mother and baby care items where both the mother and the baby will find a heart pleasing range of trolleys, diapers, nappies and many more to pick from. The third floor of 7Stories Ranjanas carry casual wear for gents such as T-Shirts, branded jeans – Levis, LICC, Key, BOSS while sharing the same floor space; ladies will find it unable to resist the allure of trying out the various shoes in the latest styles. The mezzanine wing of the floor accommodates accessories for gents such as belts, sarongs, wallets, footwear and luggage cases, branded and not, and a host of other articles to satisfy the whim of any customer that wanders through.         Attention to detail Fourth floor is dedicated for gents as well, but differing from the third, this floor comprises of branded items boasting of some of the most renowned brands in the world. A customised area for grooms is also accommodated within the confines of this floor, showcasing the attention to detail that Ranjanas 7Stories had put forth in catering to their customers’ needs. The Mezzanine section of the fourth floor carries ladies casual wear where latest trends in the world of fashion and an array of brands are depicted for the discerning shoppers to sift through. Fifth floor is devoted for the ladies. Colourful and vibrant hues beckon one in all direction where shalwars, kurthis, ladies tops and ghagra cholis unveil a range of options that would seem almost difficult to choose from. Imported from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Vietnam, the section also includes choice brands selected from Sri Lanka as well. The mezzanine sector of this division is filled with sarees that are suitable for homecomings, cotton sarees, hand-loom sarees and a host of other saree options. The sixth floor is where a bride-to-be can find their hearts desire with pure silk sarees that bespeaks elegance, sophistication, variety and quality. Spread throughout the floor, brides-to-be can sift through to their hearts content taking their time to settle on that perfect saree to make them look extra beautiful on their special day. After selecting that special pure silk saree, one could also find the necessary items such as linen, lining and saree jacket materials to complete the look of the perfect bride.  Topmost floor is the budget floor where slashed prices of up to 40% on branded items for both ladies and gents such as shoes, sarees, t-shirts, trousers, shirts and a host of other items, is fast becoming popular among the many shoppers that grace the floors of Ranjanas. A Coffee Shop with Wi-Fi, imparting a range of short-eats and coffee choices such as cappuccino, mocha and much more was also recently set up to better cater to the clientele who spend hours perusing through each floor to find their required items.         Ample parking and ATM machine Ample parking is also available at Kinross avenue with a designated car park, recently opened, that can accommodate more than 50 vehicles to better cater to the customers. Furthermore, an ATM Machine by HNB (Hatton National Bank) is also available for the convenience of shoppers.
