Under the shimmering lights of sophistication, as a celebration of finer things in life, Browns Hotels & Resorts launched an exquisite new wine menu with a wine-tasting event at its famous coastal retreat, Club Hotel Dolphin, Negombo.
“Live, Love, Wine” embodies the poetry of life, portraying the very essence of wine that’s paired with dining, dancing, romance, celebrations, refined living and life’s most cherished moments. Enthusiastic wine connoisseurs, sommeliers and wine lovers gathered for this wine-tasting evening, embarking on an extraordinary journey through 14 distinct types of red, white, and rosé wines. These wines included Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Shiraz and Vadivieso Rosé originating from illustrious vineyards across the globe; including Chile, South Africa, Italy, France and more. Each of these wines brought a mosaic of diverse and captivating stories that enchanted the guests. Guests were invited to experience the wines in their entirety, appreciating not only the taste but also the wine’s structure, aroma and colour, creating a multi-sensory journey.
Club Hotel Dolphin General Manager Thurashat Niyathapala hosted this elegant evening with an ambiance that resonated with an aura of celebration and live jazz music. The event also promised an exquisite fusion of wine and gastronomy, curated through a delightful cheese pairing session with fruits, caviar and crackers that complemented the diverse range of wines showcased.
