Colombo Jewellery Stores opens latest boutique at Colombo City Centre Mall

The luxury jewellery brand Colombo Jewellery Stores (CJS) this week opened its newest boutique at the country’s largest shopping mall.

With its high quality gem and jewellery designs, as well as its exclusive range of iconic international watch brands, the Colombo City Centre Mall would appear to be the perfect location for CJS’s newest boutique. The Mall is Sri Lanka’s largest shopping destination, and home to leading international and local brands, as well as restaurants and entertainment venues.

Located on the Ground Floor, the new boutique opened on 6 October, with a Grand Opening Preview reception for selected guests. In a dazzling display, a selection of CJS’s signature pieces were modelled for guests whilst they enjoyed the new location.

Located on the ground floor, the new location holds a variety of luxury pieces from its signature collections including its latest, Oceans Blues.

Using the subtle, aquatic hues of blue sapphires, sapphire beads, aquamarines and emerald cabochons, the Oceans Blues collection pairs these gems with the creamy surf-white brilliance of diamonds and pearls to create the classically nautical blue-white combination that is so synonymous with the sea.

As well as its gem collections, the new CJS boutique will house a comprehensive selection of timepieces from the Swiss luxury watch brand, Tag Heuer for which CJS is the official authorised dealer in Sri Lanka.

The iconic Swiss brand which has been designing and manufacturing watches since the 1860s is one of the world’s leading luxury watch brands. It is known to have a strong tradition in innovation and deep affiliations with sports timing and automotive racing.

With an equally impressive historical heritage in the gem and jewellery industry, CJS has always been inextricably linked with the heart of Colombo since its founder, Thaha Cassim, opened the first store in the port city of Colombo, in 1922.

The newest boutique at Colombo City Centre, is CJS’s fourth location in Colombo. The brand also has a fifth boutique within the Galle Fort Dutch Hospital Precinct.
