American action film ‘Fast X’ (also known as Fast & Furious 10) will be screened in 20 cinemas countrywide from today.They are PVR cinemas, Colombo City Centre, Kandy City Centre, NIT Ratnapura, NIT Kurunegala, NIT Yatiyantota, Milano Diamond, Amity Lite – Maharagama, Vista Lite – Ja Ela, Sky Lite, Maxx Lite – Moratuwa, City Lite, Voxx Lite – Avissawella, Nikado – Kadawatha, Lekha – Homagama, CK Lite – Kiridiwela, Jabyabima – Gampola, Dinusha – Nawalapitiya, Nelson Cinema, Majestic City, Savoy 3D, Regal Dematagoda, Regal Gampaha, Regal Nuwara Eliya and Regal Jaffna.Directed by Louis Leterrier from a screenplay by Dan Mazeau and Justin Lin, Fast X is based on a story by Mazeau, Lin, and Zach Dean. It is the sequel to F9 (2021), the first part of the final instalment in the mainline Fast & Furious franchise, and the 11th instalment overall.
It stars Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto alongside an ensemble supporting cast including Michelle Rodriguez, Jason Statham, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Jason Momoa, John Cena, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Brie Larson, Alan Ritchson, Daniela Melchior, Scott Eastwood, Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron, and Rita Moreno.
