Galadari unveils ‘Nelum Kole Rice’ every Sunday for lunch

Galadari Colombo has launched ‘Nelum Kale Rice’ for lunchtime at the Blue Lotus restaurant every Sunday from 12 noon to 3.00 p.m., to give guests that perfect traditional Sri Lanka meal.

Served on a lotus leaf one can find a range of traditional rice options to choose from such as olu rice, kuruluthuda rice, suwandel and much more. 

This is offered with a selection of fish, prawns, chicken and beef to mutton and more, all made according to that perfect Sri Lankan village preparation. 

Guests also get a choice of three vegetables from tasty and healthy options, which are traditional Sri Lankan favourites; for those who crave vegetarianism this option is also available.

To make the lunch time experience complete diners can try out the desserts on offer which are a touch of the old traditional favourites combined with a modern twist. 

Galadari said this is absolutely a must-try for all those sweet-toothed lovers.

Ginger pudding, beli cream mousse and curd cake and treacle are some of the mouth-watering sweet indulgences on offer.
