HNB brings Christmas cheer with Annual Carol Service 2020 posted on social media

Ushering in the Christmas season employees of Sri Lanka’s most customer-friendly bank HNB PLC, once again hosted the much anticipated Annual Christmas Carols at the HNB Auditorium under the patronage of HNB Chairman Dinesh Weerakkody and HNB MD/CEO Jonathan Alles.  

Auxiliary Bishop of Colombo, Rt. Rev. Dr. Anton Ranjith issued a special message to mark this important event in the HNB calendar. The opening prayer and Christmas message were delivered by HNB Executive Director/Chief Operating Officer, Dilshan Rodrigo.  

This year, the highly anticipated event was limited to 50 guests due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. However, measures were taken to publish footage of the event across HNB’s Facebook page and YouTube channel, to ensure all staff members and the public were part of the festive celebrations.  

The auditorium was filled with festive cheer and songs, as HNB choristers of all ages from a range of departments and branches, together with Sri Lanka’s popular acapella band Voice.Print serenaded the audience comprising of HNB Corporate Management, staff members and select invitees.
