‘Home for Christmas’ this festive season at Harpo’s Cafes & Restaurants

The theme ‘Home for Christmas’ is focusing on enjoying the season at home with your loved ones with all the seasonal fare from Harpo’s Cafes and Restaurants, which can be taken away or delivered, owing to the current COVID situation, and also to feel ‘at home’ at Harpo’s Restaurants to enjoy the season.

“The current challenges we are faced with are redefining how we celebrate this festive season. However we are open and ready to serve you, at all our restaurants, with a month of festive specials for dine in takeaway and delivery orders, while following all health and safety guidelines,” said CEO Harpo Gooneratne. 

The Annual charity project was conducted for the 15th consecutive year of the children of the Community Concern Centre Dehiwala. However instead of the Annual Christmas party, essential food packs were given to 65 kids and their families this year owing to the current situation, on 8 December at the Community Concern Centre.

Festive catering menus are offered from The Bayleaf restaurant, Park Street Mews restaurant and from Commons Coffee House, with a choice of lunch, dinner and cocktail menus for a minimum of 10 pax with Western and seasonal specials along with the ever-popular Rotti Cart from Commons to enjoy with family at home

Celebrating the festive season The Bayleaf promotes a special menu from 1 to 23 December and a Christmas menu with Italian specials with  all the trimmings from 24-30 with a New Year’s Eve specials menu. The elegant Wine & Tea Room, three private rooms and garden offer unique dining options to enjoy with family while maintaining social distance.

Park Street Mews restaurant offers the new menu with delicious dishes from 1-23 December and a Christmas menu from 24-30 December with honey glazed ham served with brown onion sausage gravy and braised apple puree, maple butter roast turkey with traditional accompaniment, herb potato and cranberry sauce, and many more along with traditional Christmas pudding for dessert and a special New Year’s Eve menu on 31 December for dinner.

Curve Tapas bar will continue offering a great selection of festive cocktails and beverages and festive tapas to enjoy with live entertainment from Thursday to Saturday.

Commons Coffee House has a month-long program which includes a kids’ activity, the delightful Commons Festive Coffees it’s so famous for, turkey menu in all its variations till 25 December and of course the dessert cupboard with the seasonal pastries and dessert.

Colombo Fort Cafe is offering a revised menu from 21-31 December with traditional seasonal specials including roasted apple salad with spicy maple cider vinaigrette for starters and roast turkey with cranberry sauce, glazed ham with an orange, grapefruit and honey sauce and apple walnut stuffed pork roast for main dishes and of course Christmas pudding for dessert among many other dishes to savour.  Daily happy hour 5 pm to 8 pm offers special deals on beverages while enjoying the rustic ambiance of the heritage Dutch Hospital complex this season.

Harps Pizza & Pasta has three unique festive pizzas on offer – honey glazed pork ham and pineapple pizza, roast chicken and cranberry pizza and pulled pork with BBQ sauce pizza for dine in, take away and delivery from Nugegoda, Ethul Kotte and Pepliyana. Delivery hotline 4869000.

Harpo’s Retail range can be enjoyed for home cooking Italian specials with fresh homemade pasta range, sauces and the frozen pizzas and ravioli. Now available in leading super markets or from Harpo’s Pizza Ethul Kotte. Harpo’s Retail also offer an elegant festive hamper for your loved ones.
