American horror film ‘Scream’ will be screened in 10 Sri Lankan cinemas from today.
They are Liberty by Scope Cinemas, Colombo City Center, PVR – Colombo 2, Kandy City Center, Milano – Kegalle, NIT – Kurunegala, NIT – Rathnapura, City Cinema – Mt. Lavinia, Maxx Lite – Moratuwa, and Vista Lite – Ja-Ela.
Directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, and written by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick, it is the fifth instalment in the ‘Scream’ film series.
The film stars Melissa Barrera, Mason Gooding, Jenna Ortega, and Jack Quaid, alongside Marley Shelton, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, and Neve Campbell, who reprise their roles from previous instalments. In this film, a new killer has donned the Ghostface mask and begins targeting a group of teenagers to resurrect secrets from the town’s deadly past.
