Japanese animated superhero movie ‘MHA World Heroes Mission’ in Lankan cinemas

Japanese animated superhero film ‘MHA World Heroes Mission’ will be screened in three Lankan cinemas from today. 

This is the third film based on My Hero Academia manga series by Kōhei Horikoshi and MHA World Heroes Mission is the second Japanese animation title to be released in Sri Lanka.

The cinemas are Liberty by Scope Cinemas, Colombo City Centre and PVR Colombo 2.

In the film, taking place during the Endeavor Agency Arc of the manga, Izuku Midoriya and his classmates join the Pro-Heroes around the world for a mission to stop a terrorist plan that will bring an end to humanity.

The movie’s synopsis is when a cult of anti-quirk terrorists destroys a city by releasing a gas that causes people’s powers to go wildly out of control, Japan’s greatest heroes disperse across the globe in an attempt to find the ringleader and bring him to justice. As part of Endeavor’s team, Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki travel to the European nation of Otheon. But after stopping a robbery gone wrong, Deku finds himself framed for mass murder and on the run with a two-bit criminal—with both Otheon’s police force and the terrorists hot on his trail.
