• Curiously intimate wedding fair with 28 exhibitors under one roof

Mövenpick Hotel Colombo successfully concluded its second ‚Mövenpick Weddings fair‘ event. The event took place on 28 and 29 September together with Guest of Honor Sri Lanka Tourism Promotions Bureau Chairman Kishu Gomes and Celebrity Guest, the renowned award winning actress Sangeetha Weeraratne. Softlogic Holdings PLC Leisure Sector CEO Udaya Indrarathna was also present during the inauguration of the Mövenpick wedding fair. 

The exhibitor list included Charini Suriyage, Celebrations with Yasmin and Heshran Wedding Decor, Two Rings, Studio U, Nadun Baduge, Melache, KR Designer Bridal, Kingsman Studio, Hameedia, Fashion Fabrics, Caked by Amna, Michael Wijesuriya, The Wedding Project, Weddings by Shero, The Flower Place, Shine by Sanjeewani, Frances Decor, Wedding Connections, Elegance by Design, Stone-N-String, Sifani, Alankara, Robed Gift Works, Estheti Centre and Colombo Card Factory. 

Srilankan Airlines was the official Airline Partner while Brides of Sri Lanka once again partnered up as the event’s exclusive bridal magazine. ODEL Home was one of this year’s sponsors together with Softlogic Life. In addition to this, a few leading event and wedding planners from India were also present this year. 

The event was a resounding success with over 500 visitors attending the wedding fair. The hotel also launched a special promotional price, offering all future brides and grooms a 20% discount for all weddings confirmed within the next three months and held at the hotel premises until the end of 2020. 

Mövenpick Weddings – Curiously Intimate, displayed the creativity produced within this industry, encouraging all visitors to understand and appreciate the unique talents put forth by designers and exhibitors.
