Pan Asia Bank, the dynamic and innovative Sri Lankan bank, recently introduced yet another novel concept internally to enhance employee engagement coinciding with Valentine’s Day.
The bank which boasts of a relatively young team of employees celebrated Valentine’s Day by conducting an internal competition based on a popular reality show concept where a Valentine’s Day prince and a princess were chosen via a digital voting mechanism.
The option of nominating themselves or their colleagues was open to all employees of Pan Asia Bank and it saw over 65 contestants coming forward to compete for these titles.
Voting was kept open for five days and was available through WhatsApp and SMS platforms.
At the conclusion of the competition the highest number of votes was secured by Dimuth Munasinghe of Kalutara branch and Chanika Gamage of Finance Department who were crowned Valentine’s Prince and Princess for the year 2020 respectively. The event was organised by the Human Resources Department of Pan Asia Bank under the initiative ‘A Great place to Work’.
